A.s.d. Kite Power

The A.s.d. Kite Power is a sports association recognized by Coni and affiliated with the national educational sports center (c.s.e.n.) which promotes kitesurfing and paddle surfing in the Torvaianica area.

Also active in winter, the association has been a reference point for local kitesurfing for over 8 years and has a dedicated launch channel also in summer.

The center also has the latest generation flexifoil kiteboarding materials as well as being an international test center.

A group of professional instructors is always ready to offer their experience to allow you to learn in the best possible way the rules of two sporting disciplines of great importance today.

The A.s.d. Kite Power Kitesurf is an amateur sports association recognized by the Coni which gives the opportunity to discover a new and extraordinarily adrenaline-fueled sport.

Affiliated to the national educational sports center (c.s.e.n.), the school wants to encourage kitesurfing in Torvaianica. The association, which represents an important point of reference in the area for the practice of this sport, offers recognized training courses, lasting 6 lessons, all individual including compulsory insurance for the practice of kitesurfing at national level.

During the course, the school provides all the necessary materials. The topics that will be addressed are:
1) Theoretical preparation and knowledge of materials

• A little bit of history
• Kite materials and their differences
• Security systems and main standards
• Winds and local knowledge
• Where a kite can fly and the paces

2) Practical on the beach with simulator (kite-2m)

• A small kite that flies like a real wing but does not have much traction, only to acquire the correct movement of the bar
• First learning exercises with the kite

3) Practice on the beach with a small kite 4 - 8 m to begin to acquire sensitivity on the propulsion that delivers a sail
4) On the Beach Practice with a real size kite

• How and where to launch and lower a kite
• Using the trapezoid

5) In the water. Body drag (piloting the wing in the water)

• Only after having acquired the right technique on the ground can you move on to body drag, which consists of "dragging the body" without the board.
• This exercise is the first contact in water with materials

6) In the water. Departure with the table

• Starting technique with the board on the ground
• Departure on the water

A.s.d. Kite Power Paddle Surf in addition to offering a wide range of kitesurfing teaching offers, allows you to get closer to a discipline that is having great success in Italy.

The school organizes paddle surf courses followed and supervised directly by wave race athletes of the Italian SUP team affiliated with aisup fisurf.

Those interested can follow a paddle surf course which is divided into 4 lessons of about 60 minutes each:

• Lesson 1: theory of sport dynamics.
• Lesson 2: dry balance, board transport, how to get into the water and adapt to water.
• Lesson 3: in-depth study on adaptation in water.
• Lesson 4: paddling and sailing.

The course will include compulsory insurance for the practice of paddle surfing.

The association, in addition to providing equipment during the course period, allows you to rent everything you need for the practice even after the end of the course.
