Aquatica Diving Center Milazzo is an amateur sports association based in Milazzo which has been involved in the promotion of ARA underwater sports since 2007 and, through these, to spread the knowledge of the seabed making it famous in the world of diving of Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands.
The dives organized respond to different levels of difficulty to allow all divers, whatever the patent in their possession, to experience this practice, including the patented Open Water Diver divers who will find dives suited to their skills along the Cape Promontory Milazzo, the Scoglio di Patti and the Island of Vulcano and Lipari.

Aquativa Diving Centere Milazzo Diving is the diving center active in Milazzo which organizes diving activities from May to October.
Diving is the main activity of Aquatica diving that every new activity season is dedicated to organizing outings at sea coordinated by staff guides ( about a hundred dives are performed) between the depths of Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands , especially Vulcano , Lipari and Panarea .
The dive is only open to those who are in possession of a regular patent which enables them to dive within the RSTC standards.
Organized activities target small groups and never exceed the 1/5 ratio in the guide / divers number.
The diving equipment needed for the dive can be provided by the diving (which currently has about 15 complete equipments (tank, ballast, mask, fins, gav, wetsuit, regulator) or brought directly by divers participating in the dive Excursions in our area are particularly interesting for divers who can personalize them by underwater photography and video , as well as immersing themselves in exploration of caves and wrecks .
A brief briefing and control of the equipment of all the members of the group is carried out, then all the ARA groups are loaded on board of the rubber boat, moored to few tens of meters from the center of the diving. Currently it is possible to host and guide two groups of 4 people, complete with equipment, on board the raft, for excursions to Capo Milazzo, while excursions to the Aeolian Islands are always made with max 5 divers and full-day (ie you make two dives on the same day, with lunch / snacks on board), taking already a second tank to start the second dive.
The diving group, before going down to the water, is then made aware of the dive site on which it will dive, informed of the peculiar characteristics of the same, as well as an outline of the various types of flora and fauna that can be observed. In a single word, the c.d. briefing. Once the dressing and checking operations between the various pairs of divers have been completed, the group is then guided along pre-established underwater routes, according to the level of the patent held and within the safety standards envisaged.
The indicative duration of recreational scuba diving varies depending on the site and the depth of the dive itself and goes from a minimum of 30/35 min. to a maximum of 55/60 minutes.
On board the nautical vehicle, available to divers, always water, cold tea, fruit juices, while on excursionsFull-day also small snacks and fruit.
On board the inflatable boat the c.d. boatman, who helps all divers to dress and make their entrances easier in the water, as well as provide, at the end of the dive, to hoist the various ARA groups aboard the raft and to facilitate the ascent of the divers, without these get tired at the end of the dive.
Underwater excursions are scheduled throughout the week (depending on the specific requests of individuals and groups).
In the event that sea conditions do not allow scheduled scuba diving, they will be postponed to the following days.
Aquatica Diving Center Milazzo organizes boat trips with snorkeling activities accessible to all, through which you can observe the seabed and sea life from the surface of the sea, without require diving patents or special technical skills and fully enjoying the most beautiful and exclusive bays of Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands .
Snorkeling excursions are fun activities for everyone, as long as they know how to swim: the use of tanks is not required and only minimal equipment is required (complete mask of snorkel -snorkel, and fins) and, in some cases, a light wetsuit or a short mutine, to make it.
It will be possible to stay on the surface, the most common way to practice the activity, but also to alternate the new one with short dives in apnea to better observe something particularly interesting below the surface; it will also be possible to practice underwater photography or shoot small videos and explore small wrecks near the semi-submerged coast.
Snorkeling excursions by boat or raft are organized in the splendid frames of Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands , groups on excursion, minimum 6 and 10 people respectively for the two routes, will be accompanied by one or two marine guides / biologists staff collaborators, expert swimmers and connoisseurs of the most interesting naturalistic locations and sites .
The group is assisted during the operations of entering and leaving the water and for the entire duration of the surface route, during which you can enjoy the splendid spectacle of our sea, crossing the most beautiful and interesting stretches from the point of view of the flora / fauna and discovering details of the routes, thanks to the explanations that will accompany the raft routes, about the history of the places, the reasons of natural interest in the area and much more. In this way, the excursion becomes rewarding for the customer and particularly interesting also from the historical / naturalistic point of view of the places, avoiding dead times and boredom of the group.
The Aquatica staff will always be present on board to assist the "snorkelers" and support them during the descent and ascent from the vehicle.
On board the boat will be available to passengers, buoyancy aids (life buoys and donuts) and water, cold tea, fruit juices and small snacks based on crackers and fruit, to make the excursion more comfortable.
Excursions are made once or twice a week depending on the requests, they last about 3 hours, excluding the longest onesnavigation routes in the case of the Aeolian Islands, and take place in the period from 1 June to 15 July and twice a week in the period 16 July / 15 September.
The days of the excursions will be predetermined (ex. Tuesday and Friday / Saturday) to give way to the excursionists to be able to take part (during their period of stay in Milazzo) both to the excursion effected to Capo Milazzo and to that of the Islands Aeolian Islands, as well as to protect it from adverse weather / sea conditions that may not allow it to take part in one or the other excursion.
In the event that sea conditions do not allow for the snorkeling excursion booked to the Aeolian Islands, the same will be carried out along the promontory of Capo Milazzo .
