Aquatica Diving Center Milazzo is an amateur sports association based in Milazzo which has been involved since 2007 with the promotion of ARA underwater sports and, through these, with spreading knowledge of the seabed which makes it famous in the world of diving in Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands.

The organized dives respond to different levels of difficulty to allow all divers, whatever their certification, to experience this practice, including certified Open Water Diver divers who will find dives suited to their skills along the Cape Promontory Milazzo, the Scoglio di Patti and the Island of Vulcano and Lipari.

The team active at Aquatica is made up of passionate divers who have made this enormous love for the sea a real lifestyle and profession, some involved in the teaching part, some in the accompanying you on excursions, to pass on your knowledge to all future divers or divers in training.

Aquativa Diving Centere Milazzo Diving is the diving center active in Milazzo which organizes diving activities from May to October.

The Diving is the main activity of the diving Aquatica which every in every new season of activity is dedicated to organizing sea trips coordinated by the staff guides ( about a hundred dives are made) between the seabed of Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands , in particular Vulcano , Lipari and Panarea .

The dive is open only to those who are in possession of a valid license that enables diving within the RSTC standards.

The organized activities are aimed at small groups and never exceed the 1/5 ratio in the number of guides / divers.

The diving equipment necessary for the dive can be provided by the diving center (which currently has about 15 complete equipment (cylinder, ballast, mask, fins, buoyancy compensator, wetsuit, regulator) or brought directly by the divers participating in the dive The excursions in our area are particularly interesting for divers who can personalize them by taking underwater photos and videos , as well as diving exploration of caves and wrecks .

We carry out a short briefing and check the equipment of all the members of the group, then load all the ARA groups on board the dinghy, moored a few tens of meters from the diving center. Currently, it is possible to host and guide two groups of 4 people, complete with equipment, on board the dinghy, for excursions to Capo Milazzo, while excursions to the Aeolian Islands are always carried out with a maximum of 5 divers and in full-day (i.e. two dives are carried out on the same day, with lunch / snack on board), bringing a second tank at the start for the second dive.
The diving group, before going into the water, is then made aware of the dive site on which they will dive, informed about the peculiar characteristics of the same, as well as informed about the various types of flora and fauna that can be observed. In one word, the so-called briefing. Once the dressing and control operations between the various couples of divers are completed, the group is then guided along predetermined underwater routes, according to the level of patent possessed and within the safety standards required.
The approximate duration of recreational scuba diving varies depending on the site and depth of the dive itself and ranges from a minimum of 30/35 min. to a max of 55/60 minutes.
On board the boat, always available to divers, water, cold tea, fruit juices, while on excursions inFull-day also small snacks and fruit.
On board the dinghy, the so-called boatman, who helps all divers get dressed and make their entry into the water easier, as well as, at the end of the dive, hoist the various scuba groups aboard the boat and facilitate the ascent of the divers, without them get tired at the end of the dive.

The diving excursions are scheduled throughout the week (depending on the specific requests of individuals and groups).
In the event that the sea conditions do not allow the scheduled scuba diving to be carried out, the same will be postponed to the following days.

Aquatica Diving Center Milazzo organizes boat excursions with snorkeling activities accessible to all, through which you can observe the seabed and marine life from the surface of the sea, without needing diving licenses or particular technical skills and fully enjoying the most beautiful and exclusive bays of Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands .

snorkeling excursions are a fun and affordable activity for everyone, as long as they know how to swim: no tank is required and only minimal equipment is required (full mask snorkel-snorkel, and fins) and, in some cases, a light wetsuit or a short pant, to make it.
It will be possible to stay on the surface, the most common way to practice the activity, but also to alternate the new dive with short apnea dives to better observe something particularly interesting under the surface; it will also be possible to practice underwater photography or shoot small videos and explore small wrecks near the coast semi submerged.

Snorkeling excursions by boat or rubber dinghy are organized in the splendid frames of Capo Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands , groups of at least 6 and 10 people respectively for the two routes, they will be accompanied by one or two guides / marine biologists staff collaborators, expert swimmers and connoisseurs of the most interesting places and sites along the coast from a naturalistic point of view .

The group is assisted during the operations of entering and exiting the water and for the entire duration of the route on the surface, during which you can enjoy the splendid spectacle of our sea, crossing the most beautiful and interesting sections from the point of flora / fauna view and discovering details on the routes, thanks to the explanations that will accompany the routes by rubber dinghy, about the history of the places, the reasons of naturalistic interest in the area and much more.In this way, the excursion becomes satisfying for the customer and particularly interesting also from the historical / naturalistic point of view of the places, avoiding downtime and boredom of the group.

The Aquatica staff will always be present on board to assist the “snorkelers” and support them during the descent and ascent operations.

On board the boat will be available to passengers, buoyancy aids (life jackets and donuts) and water, cold tea, fruit juices and small snacks based on crackers and fruit, to make the excursion more comfortable.

The excursions are carried out once or twice a week depending on the requests, they have a duration of about 3 hours, excluding the longest onesnavigation routes in the case of the Aeolian Islands, and take place in the period from 1 June to 15 July and twice a week in the period 16 July / 15 September.

The days of the excursions will be pre-established (e.g. Tuesday and Friday / Saturday) to allow hikers to take part (during their period of stay in Milazzo) both in the excursion made to Capo Milazzo and to that of the Islands Aeolian Islands, as well as to protect him from any adverse weather / sea conditions that may not allow him to take part in one or the other excursion.
In the event that the sea conditions do not allow for the snorkeling excursion booked to the Aeolian Islands, the same will be carried out along the promontory of Capo Milazzo .
