Granlasco

The Granlasco is a sailing school that offers boat rental service and organizes boat excursions. The headquarters are located near Riva di Traiano, Civitavecchia in the province of Rome.

The association was born in 1994, since 2005 it has obtained the recognition of the Fiv and registered with the CONI both as a sailing club and as a sailing school.

The sailing courses range from the basic initiation course to that of instructors to that of navigation for the completion of a nautical license. The school offers courses for anyone who wants to acquire the fundamental basics to become an expert skipper or for already experienced people who want to improve.

The Granlasco Vela is a sailing school based near Civitavecchia, more precisely in Riva di Traiano.

The school offers courses for any need, for any person who wants to acquire the fundamental basics to become a good skipper.
The courses are divided into:

• Initiation course: tacking at the bow and stern, the gaits, the rearrangement of the boat, the seafaring terms, fundamental knots. Course duration 2 weekends and 4 lessons.
• Advanced course: change and reduction of sails, sail center, center of drift and trim of the boat, use of trolleys and trolleys, of the base tensioner and of the Vang, introduction to the spinnaker, the hood. Duration 2 weekends 4 lessons. Course duration 2 week and 4 lessons

The Granlasco Excursion by Boat is a sailing school based near Civitavecchia in the Province of Rome in Riva di Traiano.

The school in addition to offering sailing courses for all needs from basic to advanced courses, to the possibility of obtaining a nautical license, offers an excursion service in the Tuscan Archipelago, in the Argentario, Giglio, Giannutri islands and in the islands Pontine and Ventotene.

The Granlasco Noleggio Barche is a sports association founded in 1994 and is based near Civitavecchia in Riva di Traiano in the province of Rome.

The association as well as being a sailing school that offers sailing courses for all those who want to learn how to practice this fantastic sport, offers a boat rental service.

The company manages 4 boats, all in perfect condition and perfectly equipped to allow the most demanding sailors to sail safely in all conditions.

Among the standard equipment, in addition to the 130% genoa, there is a wind jib, furling, excellent for moderate winds and indispensable for strong winds. It is also possible to choose, instead of the belts required by law, self-inflating life jackets equipped with safety belts. All boats are equipped with two anchor lines and life line.

The standard equipment consists of: Rollafiocco, awning, log, depth sounder, GPS, Chart plotter, Wind control unit, VHF, electric winch, hot water, CD stereo, refrigerator, oven, battery charger and in addition insurance, berth paid for the first and the last night.
