TheSki Club As Olimpic Lama is one of the best sports clubs in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, surrounded by greenery at 1300 meters above sea level and specialized in introducing young people to cross-country skiing. p>

We manage the Piana Amorotti Cross Country Center and offer a wide choice of activities:

• Alpine and Nordic skiing
• sleigh and bobsled tracks
• ski hiking,
• ski courses (cross-country and downhill),
• snowshoe excursions
• Nordic walking courses
• courses for schools (including material rental, qualified instructors, meals, access to facilities and transport)

We have eight rings (for a total of over 40 km), usable all year round thanks to our efficient artificial snow system.

Children are also welcome and can have fun at the baby park, on the Tupping and Treadmill slopes.

The Sci Club As Olimpic Lama Ciaspole is establishing itself in Italy as a reference station in the Apennines for those who want to try their hand at this fun discipline.

The Piane area is characterized by the alternation of meadows and pine and beech forests, a perfect setting for pleasant snowshoe walks!

For some years it has been home to one of the Italian Cup trials, valid for the Italian Snowshoe Championship. More than six hundred people participated in the last edition of this race! We have over 25 km of track divided into 7 meticulously clean and marked routes.

We organize daytime excursions every week for individuals and groups and, on full moon days, we plan nocturnal explorations that give participants the evocative experience of walking on snow illuminated by moonlight.

The Sci Club As Olimpic Lama Sci di Cross Country offers you the opportunity to practice this fun sport based on the harmonious coordination between body and mind.

Born in ancient times as a means of locomotion on the snow by Nordic peoples, cross-country skiing is nowadays characterized as one of the mountain sports disciplines most appreciated by adults, teenagers and children.

The Piane dello Sci Club As Olimpic Lama hosted the Italian Nordic Skiing Student Championship in February 2010, in which around 200 kids competed in a wonderful competitive event. An extraordinary event resulting from the collaboration between the Organizing Committee and the town's volunteers, in which participants and supporters were able to enjoy an engaging sporting competition framed by a breathtaking landscape.

The Sci Club As Olimpic Lama Trekking has five qualified Nordic Walking instructors, a splendid sporting discipline which consists of walking while walking with two special sticks.< /p>

Nordic Walking mixes the typical movements of cross-country skiing with those of walking, exploiting the thrust of the poles which allow for a greater length of step and lighten the body weight on the spine and lower limbs.

A simple and healthy exercise on a physiological level that tones 85% of the muscles and helps prevent or alleviate back problems.

Nordic Walking is an aerobic sport that can be practiced at any age and is characterized as a valuable workout for the cardiovascular system, promotes oxygenation of the body, stimulates coordination and balance and helps to relieve stress.
