Scuola Pirovano

The Pirovano School boasts over 50 years of experience in practicing and teaching summer skiing at any level.

Furthermore, since 1990, the Pirovano School has made its professionalism available to all snowboard lovers thanks to the creation of the Snowboard University.

On the splendid slopes of the Stelvio Pass you can take part in one of our summer courses, quickly improving your technique and keeping yourself in training for the winter season.

A week of skiing or snowboarding during the summer is in fact an excellent method to keep the body from forgetting the basic movements of skiing.

The courses of the Pirovano School are held every week, from the beginning of June until the end of October, at over 3000 meters above sea level.

The Pirovano Sci School offers courses of various levels, suitable for both beginners and experts who want to improve technique and style.

Our educational program includes:

• Beginners Course (Bronze Level) - to learn from scratch how to control speed and direction changes; at the end of the course the students will be able to try their hand at easy and medium difficulty slopes (Blue and Red)
• Medium Course (Silver Level) - acquisition of the technique necessary to tackle curves with parallel skis and lead skiing
• Advanced Course (Gold Level) - improvement of one's skiing technique; training in an open field with different types of poles (dwarf, slalom, giant, etc.)

All the courses listed are collective (groups of minimum 3 and maximum 10 people) and the minimum age to participate is 8 years (excluding the "special family" weeks during which specific group courses are organized for children from 5 years of age).

Based on the needs of the students it is also possible to organize individual or personalized lessons (minimum 2 hours per day).

The Pirovano Snowboard School pays the utmost attention to the selection of its instructors. The aim is to always offer its customers the highest standards of professionalism, friendliness and safety during the lessons.

The snowboard courses cover all the disciplines related to this modern sport and take place both on the ski slopes and in the snow park:

• First Curve (absolute or almost absolute beginners) - to start from scratch and learn the fundamentals of snowboarding technique with enthusiasm and seriousness
• All Around (General Improvement Level) - for those who already have some experience, this level has the final objective of improving general technique on different types of terrain such as slopes, snow parks and off-piste
• Freestyle (Introduction to the snowpark) - for those who are not interested in ski slopes and see snowboarding as a pure freestyle essence; lessons exclusively inside the snowpark
• Instructor Selection (Preparation for the instructor selection) - for all those who aspire to become snowboard instructors; specific courses for preparation for selections

For all one-week snowboard courses organized by the Pirovano Snowboard School, video recordings with subsequent commentary from the instructor are provided.
