ASD Grotte Forre e Natura d'Abruzzo welcomes you among us, true enthusiasts of disciplines such as canyoning or speleology, but also of all those activities that in a sporting, scientific or cultural links people to Nature. We are accompanied and bound by a spirit and values such as friendship and trust between those who share this experience and above all modesty in the face of Nature in all its forms: water, stone, snow or ice. The latter is the true teacher we rely on.

The group organizes annual training courses in speleology, canyoning and self-rescue. The other activities are scheduled weekly depending on the climate and preferences of the participants. Basically we propose:

• ski mountaineering and hiking skiing
• climbing
• exploratory trekking on foot or by mountain bike

ASD Grotte Forre e Natura d'Abruzzo Sci is keen to teach you and transmit to you much more than simple technical notes on skiing, it wishes to transmit to you a spirit capable of understanding the mountains, relationships with companions on many trips, the motivations that lead to such a particular activity, the emotions that climbing a peak or descending a beautiful snowy slope arouses.

Come and learn or practice skiing with us in different national locations, such as the Cresta del Foscagno, which descent is truly spoiled for choice: you have three slopes available and the panorama ranges between peaks and glaciers and it is a beautiful climb that requires attention only on the ridge line because for the rest it is an excursion accessible to everyone as long as you are always equipped with caution, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. Another very interesting place is Monte la Meta with its 2400 meters which reserves the pleasant surprise of a veil of several centimeters of fresh snow in May.

ASD Grotte Forre e Natura d'Abruzzo Climbing invites you to join our group and try the wonderful and exciting discipline of climbing! This sport, in addition to keeping you fit, gives you a lot of satisfaction: imagine yourself reaching your destination, enjoying the view from the other side of the summit!

We organize weekly outings in different places including the Frosolone cliffs, made up of limestone bastions that rise, almost like pinnacles in themselves, in one of the most beautiful mountainous areas of Molise.
This place is a destination for enthusiasts who come from all over Italy, as the walls are aligned with each other and inside there are suggestive small meadows where it is possible to stay overnight, in short it is a corner of paradise. These walls have different levels of difficulty that are adaptable and accessible to everyone.

In addition to rock climbing activities, we also participate in national climbing competitions and host expert and authoritative figures in the field.

ASD Grotte Forre e Natura d'Abruzzo Speleologia shares a strong passion for the most secret and jealously guarded part of nature, the one that offers an exciting encounter with oneself and with time that seems immobile and imperturbable in the profound silence of the dark: the caves.

We organize annual introductory courses to this extreme and intimate sport, providing participants with a human and professional enthusiasm that comes from years of experience and a profound love for nature. Our students are followed individually by experts and provided with all the technical material for the exercises, which will be preceded by theoretical lessons on speleology techniques and materials. The exercises take place first outdoors, then in caves, with increasing difficulty, in order to acclimatise and accustom the aspiring speleologist to the underground environment and movement techniques. The exercises will be held in Abruzzo or surrounding areas. The locations of the exercises will be reached with the use of one's own means of transport, and certificates will be issued to students who have participated in half of the lessons, both theoretical and practical. The technical material will be issued by the group if the student does not have it except for the wetsuit and personal clothing.

ASD Grotte Forre e Natura d'Abruzzo Canyoning invites you to lose yourself among water, stone and vertigo. The gorges do not only offer this, but much more: primordial worlds hidden in the most remote places of the Apennines. In these places nature has created essential, perfect forms, using the chisel of water and ice to amaze man with astonishing visions. This happens especially in spring when the Apennines wake up from winter: water and ice abound everywhere and the energy of a gorge is pure and uncontainable.

We organize weekly excursions to various places, including the Forra di Riancoli, the Forra del Cusano, the Gola del Titerno, the Gola di Stiffe, L'Avello, La Richiusa, Lu Cacchema and Salinello.

For those wishing to approach this discipline for the first time, we have annual courses, which deal with theoretical topics and offer a complement of practical activities in the gym and on site. The exercises will be held in Abruzzo and the technical material will be released by the group if the student does not have it.

In good weather, get on your bike and join us, we can advise you and you yourself can take part in different routes, suited to your needs and desires. Take advantage of the simplicity of using a bicycle to derive all the possible benefits: well-being, freshness, physical activity, active tourism... and much more. Furthermore, this sport is suitable for everyone, young and old, sedentary and very active... you set the pace you prefer!
