Milanese Excursion Society is the section of the Italian Alpine Club that aims to spread mountain activities.

The Milan Excursion Society was born in 1891 and since then has tried to maintain within it accessible dimensions, suitable for establishing the ideal conditions for consocenza and collaboration within the members who they are part.

The fundamental objective of society is to foster a concept of responsible tourism in the mountains, which passes through the knowledge of this particular area and the careful knowledge of it, and which it pursues by organizing opportunities for meetings, trips and training courses in different areas of sport:

The Milanese MTB Excursionist Society spreads mountain sports in Lombardy, in winter and summer.

This Society, an integral part of the Italian Alpine Club (the members of the SEM are also members of the CAI), has as its fundamental purpose the dissemination of a knowledge of the peculiar environment of the high mountains and of a conscious tourism and it does so by spreading winter and summer sports that can be practiced on the summit.

Specifically at SEM you can find courses of different levels and excursions for all the main snow and rock sports.

Thanks to the section X Ray Mountain Bike also fans of excursions on two wheels will find an extensive annual program of outings guided by expert instructors / hiking guides and Mountain Bike courses , Gran Fondo and Freeride thanks to which you can learn how to manage the bike along the mountainous routes.
