Umbria Outdoor Canyoning invites you to try a descent through impervious, almost inaccessible gorges!
The school will provide you with everything you need to tackle this activity which allows you to experience first-hand the most extraordinary and uncontaminated natural environments, in which nature still has a wide and wild breath, made up of waterfalls to dive from, smooth rock toboggans and natural swimming pools of very transparent water.

Facing a canyon means becoming a privileged observer, capable of entering the more secret ways carved out by the water over centuries of incessant activity.

We offer you guided descents at the Marmore Falls and in the most intact and wild valleys and canyons of Valnerina and the whole of Umbria! The proposed excursions take place in spectacular, totally natural, isolated and uncontaminated environments. We specify that they do not require any technical skills, because they will be your qualified professional guides and instructors affiliated with C.A.I., AIC, S.S.I. , U.I.S.P. to manage the entire descent, taking care of every detail and guaranteeing safety on the descent.

The excursions include the complete supply of materials for use by the school, so that each participant is in the perfect conditions to be able to tackle the descent without extra costs.

Our destinations range from the beautiful Valnerina to the ravines and gorges of the Sibillini Mountains.

• Six-day trek (or shortened three-day version) on the Sentiero degli Ulivi, starting from Spoleto and arriving in Assisi, during which the group will cross the most interesting points of the region, including history, art and nature. • Seven-day trek(or shortened four-day version) organized between the territories of the Nera River Park and the Sibillini Mountains Park with the beautiful town of Norcia as the starting point 'I arrive. • Five-day itinerary (or shortened three-day version) to discover the centers of mysticism between the regions of Umbria and Lazio, with a visit to the numerous, famous hermitages scattered along the area and the many naturalistic and faunal peculiarities
• Five-day trek(or shortened three-day version) which follows the final part of the Velino course and has the element of water as a recurring theme with excursions to inside the lands of the Lungo and Ripa Sottile lakes Nature Reserve as well as the lake basins of Ventina and Piediluco, until reaching the suggestive Marmore waterfalls.

Umbria Outdoor also opens its doors to lovers of free climbing.
Discover the techniques to test yourself with the vertical dimension together with the guides and instructors of the association, begin your challenge not only to gravity but to your own limits with this sport that develops concentration, teaching you to listen to your body and control your mind.

Our climbing lessons are organized in meetings lasting three hoursand are divided into group lessons (always in small groups) or >single.

The starting point is in Ferentillo, to embark on our adventures in the beautiful streets of Valnerina, with expeditions organized in the milder months, from April to November, always on midweek dates.

If you are attracted by the idea of choosing such a particular sport, which helps you develop your faculties, including concentration and balance, and which can be practiced outdoors and in contact with nature, turning to Umbria Outdoor is the solution for you: the trained staff is able to accompany you in your progression and provide you with the teaching tools and skills needed to fully experience your activity.

Thanks to the presence of our instructors you will also be able to test yourself with the most beautiful climbing routes in the Ferentillo area, from simple climbs of 15 meters in length up to the most challenging ones reaching 120 metres.< /p>

Umbria Outdoor Speleology wants you to discover underground Umbria: mysterious, fascinating and surreal. We offer you the exploration of natural caves, an intense, profound, compelling and rewarding experience. Try to venture back to the motherland with this discipline that involves the body and the spirit! Experience an exciting and total immersion to discover a primordial world that goes beyond the limits of time.

We organize guided explorations in suggestive natural caves that are not equipped for tourism, but can be visited with strictly speleological equipment and progression techniques. Try the descents into the travertine cavities of the Marmore Falls and throughout the Umbrian territory, suitable for everyone: beginners and already experienced people. The excursions organized by Umbria Outdoor are entrusted to the management of specialized and highly experienced guides who will allow you to have constant control and technical support. The school will also provide you with everything you need in terms of material.

Umbria Outdoor Orienteering invites you to participate in a new and fun experience: the combination of survival and orientation! If you feel like an adventure, don't wait, we are in Terni and we are waiting for you!

Surviving is to be understood as a recreational project that puts the participant to the test of a real challenge to himself, soliciting his ability to adapt and his ingenuity, obviously without risks for the group.

Surviving is made up of a wide range of sports/activities ranging from aquatic ones such as swimming and canyoning to land ones such as running or orienteering, and is considered one of the multiadventure proposals with the highest level of safety.

A practice that is not limited to the sporting aspect, but which also calls into question disciplines and concepts coming from behavioral psychology or experimental anthropology.

One of the fundamental activities with which you will be able to deal during this activity is the already experienced orienteering, which puts you back in touch with your ability to orient yourself in an unfamiliar environment by relying only on a specific topographic map, on a compass and on your instinct.

Umbria Outdoor organizes courses of one, two or three days in both the summer and winter seasons.

Umbria outdoor offers you the opportunity to get to know a truly suggestive place, in fact it takes you to discover the Serra river, one of the main tributaries of the Nera river. This river opens the passage in a gorge formed by very engraved limestone walls, truly one of a kind.

In the middle of these gorges, pools of crystalline water are formed which can be traveled by boat or can be crossed by swimming.

From the tranquility of the pools you pass to the most tumultuous streets where the water has opened its path over the years. Here you can decide to face these rivers in full or swimming for the most reckless or through elevated paths, specially built with walkways and steel courtyards, for the passage of people in complete safety.

Other unforgettable views are offered to us by a wide network of bridges that connect the highest parts of the Valserra gorge .
