The reserve is one of the four oriented nature reserves in the province of Trapani and extends for about 315 square meters.

The territory extends for about 315 square meters and has different possibilities for outdoor activities, a nature reserve was established in 1984, one of the four oriented ones in the province of Trapani.

The reserve covers 315 square meters and is one of the four natural reserves in the province of Trapani, established in 1984.

In the territories of the park, thanks to Orsa, you can choose from many routes, differentiated by target destination, which will escort you to discover the "world of nature", where Monte Bonifato hides still fantastic scenarios, in the company of a highly trained staff of guides capable of revealing all the secrets of nature, for an unforgettable and enriching experience.

Participants will have the sensation of entering a virgin territory, along four possible paths:

• archaeological itinerary - going through the ruins of the small medieval village Bunifat, to discover the remains of the ancient community between the queen gate, the Funtanazza, the walls and towers;

• botanical path - a path of recognition and discovery of the typical plants of the Mediterranean and medicinal plants, to collect samples and create a herbarium. The path is also a sensitive path, as some blindfolded sections will be made to experience the recognition of species through the senses;

• wildlife path - to go in search of the signs of the presence of different species of animals: direct observations, burrows, nests, footprints, food remains, made, implementing some simple techniques for detecting the data;

• sound path - another brand new sensory proposal, of listening and recognition of the sounds of the surrounding environment, in a collective walk to be carried out in silence.
