Our Amateur Sports Association was born to promote water sports in the Pelagie Islands .

In a completely eco-friendly project, we take care of the protection of endangered species such as the Sea Turtle Caretta Caretta .

The history of the Protected Marine Area of the Pelagie Islands has its roots in 2002, when it was created with the aim of safeguarding the ecosystem of Linosa , Lampione and Lampedusa , the three islands of the archipelago.

The marine ecosystem offers an incredible show in which you can find dolphins , tuna , snapper , amberjack, barracuda , gray sharks and blue whales .

Species that cannot be found in other areas of the Mediterranean flow directly from the Suez Canal, and oceanic fish and crabs enter from the Atlantic.

The flora that dwells on the seabed is full of life, and gives the submerged landscape brilliant and incredibly fascinating colors.

The association offers boat excursions , snorkeling , interesting marine biology courses and the incredible Whale Watching in the period between February and March.

Let yourself be transported aboard our boats for a relaxing day on the high seas off the wonderful coasts of the Pelagie Islands.

Lulled by the sound of the waves and immersed in the absolute silence of the surrounding area, you will have the opportunity to choose between recreational, night or technical dives.

Among the places included in the excursion, the beautiful islands of Lampione and Linosa.

Our activities will keep you busy all day, and included in the package you will also have a delicious seafood lunch freshly caught on the island of Lampedusa or Lampione.

On board, you will have the opportunity to dive into a fun snorkeling test.

During the outing, you will be accompanied by our professional diver of photos and videos, who will record each of the unforgettable moments you will spend with us.

The equipment will be provided by the Association, as well as the top quality regulators.

It also offers the opportunity to attend marine biology courses , to enter even more into the fascinating world of the seabed.

For our members we offer boat excursions , especially for those who do not want to dive but just accompany a friend, or simply enjoy the beauties of Lampedusa and its surroundings on a boat.

The stops for scuba diving allow the view of the seabed, where, since the water is transparent and very clean, it allows you to admire some marine species even while remaining on the boat.

While the divers will dive, those who will remain on board will be able to attend the explanations of one of our marine biologists, who will explain the particularities of these marine species, the organisms and the vegetation that are part of them.

Our most popular excursions are:

• Lampione , an islet rich in vegetation which is about fifteen kilometers from Lampedusa;
  
• Linosa , which is unquestionably one of the most characteristic islands in all of southern Italy, with its colors and peculiarities, will allow you to admire many aquatic species, for divers (and also for those accompanying will remain on the boat) will be one of the best experiences achievable in Italy !!

Our Association organizes an incredible experience in close contact with the second largest animal in the world .

In the period between the months of February and March , the Common Whale (Balaenoptera physalus) migrates towards the Cetacean Sanctuary in the Ligurian Sea passing through the channel of Sicily , in correspondence of the Pelagie islands.

Clearly, the sighting is not taken for granted, as it is not programmable, but any close contact with this good giant will repay you for all the waiting.

If you are lucky, you will see the Whale jump out of the water before one of its dives, which can reach a depth of 230 meters .

On board our boat, one of our marine biology professionals will give a lesson on large cetaceans and will give you guidelines on how to spot and on the appropriate behavior to observe at the moment of appearance.

Do not miss this fantastic experience, it is only available for two months a year! Bring your family and your friends , everyone will be enchanted by the sinuous movements of the whale in Sicilian waters.
