With the guides of Arpino Ecoturismo Canyoning you can dive into the crystal clear water pools of these streams, have fun on sinuous slides, waterfalls and rapids with differences in height of various heights (even over 20 meters!). />

For fun and healthy days in the snow, take part in snowshoeing excursions proposed by Arpino Ecoturismo Ciaspole !

The mountains around Arpino are covered with snow from December to March and this allows the practice of fantastic trekking with snowshoes and skis.

With snowshoes on your feet you can have fun exploring the many kilometers of paths that wind along the central Apennines, the Ernici Mountains and the Monti della Meta.

The routes are for all skill levels and even beginners can have fun in the snow by practicing a healthy and fun physical activity.

The companions of the Arpino Ecoturismo Ciaspole Association know the area well and each excursion is decided only after a careful evaluation of the weather and snow conditions.

Excursions with snowshoes can also take place while it is snowing or under the full moon and all take place in the name of maximum tranquility and safety.

The Arpino Ecoturismo Trekking operating base is located at 620 meters above sea level and 9 circular itineraries of various lengths depart from it (from 45 min. To 3 hours).

These paths wind through the wooded hills around the suggestive Megalithic Acropolis of Arpino and the interesting archaeological remains and geological peculiarities.

The 9 routes are suitable for everyone (parents with children, elderly people, tireless walkers and expert hikers).

However, there are many other more challenging and unmarked routes for which it is necessary to be accompanied by an expert guide of Arpino Ecoturismo Trekking or to be familiar with orientation and cartography.

Trekking is practicable in every season and from May to September it is possible to make excursions of several days with overnight stay in bivouacs.

Dozens of itineraries are also offered along valleys and ridges, watersheds and slopes, pastures and woods of the Eastern Ernici Mountains, the Meta Mountains, the Cairo Mount Massif, the Lazio Apennines and the Melfa River Gorges.

Arpino Ecoturismo Walks on Horseback offers excursions on the paths of the valley among hills, woods, streams that make this landscape unique and unspoiled.

On horseback, the territory transforms excursions into a real estrangement from everyday stress, offering an absolutely surprising contact with nature.

The excursions can start from a minimum of four hours up to two or more days, with an overnight stay in a bivouac.

For those who do not know how to ride or have not yet acquired little experience and familiarity, but want to start, there is a riding stable where you can practice taking short walks under the guidance of a teacher.

If you have a horse, bring it with you, you will have the opportunity to house it in the stables of the riding school.

Arpino Ecoturismo Speleologia is an Association that works to promote the natural and historical riches of the area of Arpino, a town of undisputed value located in the heart of Ciociaria.

For years this area has proved to be a real treasure for all caving enthusiasts.

A systematic study of the area is still conducted by the Guidonia-Monticello Speleological Group, which is responsible for the discovery and exploration of the very long cave-resurgence of Zompa Lo Zoppo.

Over time, many other resurgences, sinkholes, craters, crevasses and wells have been inventoried and some of these caves can already be visited. Other caves are still partially accessible only by expert speleologists, so a project has been launched to make them accessible to a beginner public (but without the excessive facilities of the famous caves open to mass tourism).

The caves that can already be visited are:

• Uovese Moscatello
• Cave of the Fairies
• Valle Falco triptych

Specialized personnel from the Arpino Ecoturismo Speleologia Association are always present for visits.

The Arpino Ecoturismo MTB Association carries out an active promotion of the territory of Arpino and its surroundings by proposing various types of tourist routes and sports activities for all tastes.

Two-wheel enthusiasts can have fun along the 9 itineraries proposed by the Association and which branch off from its Operating Base.

The woods and hills of the area are crossed by kilometers and kilometers of ups and downs of varying difficulty.
