CAI Perugia is the local section of the Italian Alpine Club active in the province of the same name since its foundation in 1875, organizes for the exclusive use of its members , various types of activities.

CAI Perugia Canyoning , known as Etruskanyoning is the group specialized in canyoning active in the Perugian section of the Italian Alpine Club.

The section deals with the organization of canyoning outings in Umbria, mainly in the gorge, throughout the year, with dates also in other Italian and foreign locations that are particularly interesting for this sport.

Members enrolled in the CAI will be able to take part in the various activities of the Group of Canyoning which stand out not only for the location, but also for the difficulty and commitment of the route.

The poposte usually take place starting from April, the month from which it is possible to practice canyoning.

CAI Perugia Ciaspole organizes for its members excursions with snowshoes, aimed at developing a culture of the mountains and promoting hiking in the winter season.

Each year the center draws up a complete calendar of proposals, both in the educational and recreational field, in the various excursion specialties contemplated by the groups within the CAI .

Through the proposals of open air sports disciplines in the months of January and February, the CAI Perugia Ciaspole contributes to the dissemination of knowledge of the mountain environment for its members, both within the Umbrian territory that of the different cities.

CAI Perugia Trekking is the section dedicated to hiking of the Italian Alpine Club of Perugia which organizes courses for its members and, every year, formulates a full calendar of themed activities and outings to be held in the summer and winter months.

The hiking courses that are organized by the Section are of a progressively increasing level: basic, to start, advanced to access routes of greater commitment, and the more specialized, progression on a snowy environment, which provides students the notions suitable for facing the mountainous environment in snow conditions.

As for the outings, on the other hand, the proposals that are developed are of different types to adapt to the different levels of preparation of the participants and allow all members of legal age to perfect their hiking skills and knowledge in the field.

CAI Perugia Climbing is the section of the Italian Alpine Club of Perugia dedicated to climbing activities , known as " FuoridiRoccia ", which organizes for club members who have adequate physical and technical training in the field of climbing, outings in the main Italian and European mountains.

The section deals with winter mountaineering on classic or aided long routes, as well as sport climbing on a crag, on single pitches.

The outings of CAI Perugia Arrampicata take place throughout the year, obviously compatibly with the weather conditions.

The activities are carried out for participants who are already technically prepared and who are in possession of their own equipment, but during the year basic activities are also organized such as mountaineering courses and agreements with climbing .

CAI Perugia MTB is the group "I Rampichini", section of CAI Perugia dedicated to cycle excursions for members of CAI .

The section organizes mountain bike excursions in an annual calendar full of meetings and occasions of various kinds: the routes on which CAI Perugia MTB excursions are carried out are located in different, interesting sites of the region and present different degrees of difficulty and commitment, from the tourist level to that for cycle-hikers with a higher degree of preparation.

Members will be constantly updated on the complete annual programs of activities and will also be able to participate in mountain bike excursions outside the annual calendar, proposed during the year.
