Our sporting nature, however, allows us to reserve the greatest satisfactions and surprises for those who want to let themselves be guided by us in the exploration of these beautiful valleys. We offer a wide choice to mountain bike enthusiasts, horse riding or to those who cannot give up a nice trekking in nature. In fact, Pila boasts a system of very beautiful, well-maintained and signposted paths that lead into one of the most beautiful natural environments in the Alps.

Winter opens with the transformation of the landscape by the snow, transforming your holiday into a unique event capable of combining the relaxation of a stay in the warm structures at high altitude with the greatest fun and satisfaction for snow lovers .

Espace de Pila Pesca invites you to join its staff in Aosta to practice fishing together!

For all those interested, here is a new opportunity: trout fishing at Lake Chamolè (2325m).

Participants in the fishing trips in Pila must be able to present the government permit which can be requested in the municipality of residence while, on site, it will simply be necessary to obtain the permits issued by our Tourist Consortium >, which can be requested with different durations: daily, weekly or monthly.

The lake is located just a ten minute walk from Pila and is accessible from the arrival of the chairlift of the same name with a short walk.

Don't miss the unique opportunity to practice this easy and relaxing sport. Come with your group of friends and you will be able to share an experience that offers harmony and collaboration.

Espace de Pila Parapendio is new to our structure! The Pila basin is a natural balcony overlooking the city of Aosta, an ideal place for lovers of free flight!

The altitude allows all enthusiasts and interested parties to take off and land at different altitudes and therefore flights with different height differences.

The take-off areas from which, depending on the weather conditions, we carry out flights are:

• Plan Praz, high point at an altitude of 1,540 metres,
• Gorraz/Fagiani, a suggestive high-altitude take-off point at 1,930 meters above sea level

As regards the landing pads, however, the following are foreseen:

• Gressan, for which you descend to an altitude of 626 meters above sea level,
• Plan Praz, at 1,540 meters above sea level.

The school puts qualified instructors at your complete disposal who will support you in learning: from fundamental concepts to flight techniques.

Furthermore, we also offer the possibility of carrying out tandem flights for all those who want to try this air sport before deciding whether to practice it or for those who simply want to indulge in a unique experience!

The activities of Espace de Pila continue all year round, to reach the high points from which the activities take place we rely on the ski lifts (in winter during the opening season of the slopes) or on the minibuses with shuttle service of the association itself (in the summer season).

Espace de Pila Sci invites you to experiment your desire for adrenaline and adventure in the province of Aosta, in Gressan! Come and join us to practice an exciting snow sport: Alpine skiing!

Try downhill, slaloom, free ride... don't let anything stop you. Learn with us to travel on the snow as if it were what you have always done! Come and experience a different day set in a setting that ranges from the woods to the snow-covered meadows of the valley.

If your passion is skiing, you will appreciate our slopes even more after having climbed them along the numerous ski mountaineering routes.

You will find a modern winter sports resort where you can ski in complete safety thanks to ski instructors, alpine and naturalistic guides from the Sac à Dos association available to help you learn all the secrets of this discipline! The Pila ski area has transformed in recent years into a real center of specialization for snowboarders who reach its EFFE Area from all over Italy.
Here a well-equipped Snowpark awaits skiers who are passionate about snowboarding or freestyle practitioners with two levels of technicians among many tests (rail, rail box, fun box and much more) p>

The Espace de Pila is able to offer freeriders everything that a sportsman of this kind is looking for, an unthinkable range of possibilities, with slopes with different characteristics, from natural to those treated and equipped with natural obstacles and humps and much more: in this way we have created an area capable of offering athletes everything they are looking for and even anticipating their imagination.

Don't forget your camera! You will be able to immortalize your personal masterpiece, the trace of your table that stands out alone on a completely virgin slope. This is powder, that is, what gives the most intense sensations of this sport, the dream of every rider and what the board was created for.

Our staff will be available for advice and support during your days on the slopes: safety is the fundamental aspect for us so, if you don't know the mountains well or if you don't feel completely safe, rely on the experience of a guide to let us guide you in the realization of your passion safely and without unnecessary risks.

Espace de Pila Ciaspole invites you not to abandon your walks during the winter! Join us in the province of Aosta toget on snowshoes and re-establish contact with the environment!

A white frame immersed in the unreal silence of the mountain, broken only by the sounds of nature, capable of instilling in us a profound feeling of peace and freedom, while walking on the blanket of fresh snow thanks to the help of snowshoes: the most surprising way of discover the landscape and let yourself be conquered by its beauty.

It will be possible to go snowshoeing in a pristine environment with the advantage of being a short distance from the slopes equipped for all winter sports.

Find yourself immersed in the scents and colors of a pure and uncontaminated place, discover, thanks to the accompaniment of guides, the most remote and hidden corners of the beautiful Pila area.

This discipline is suitable for the whole family because it is easy to perform and offers many emotions and good moments to spend together. In fact, when the landscape is covered in snow, extraordinary panoramas open up to your eyes and thanks to snowshoes you can reach unexplored places during this season. Organize a snowshoe trip with your friends, it will be an original way to spend a nice day!

Espace de Pila Trekking invites you to explore and discover the Aosta Valley and especially the province of Gressan on foot! Nature is waiting to welcome you and relax!

There are numerous traced and signposted routes where you can go trekking of various lengths and commitments to allow everyone to see the most beautiful views of the Pila basin.

Here are the various itineraries we propose!

• Via Ferrata - there are many equipped and panoramic routes that allow even 360° views during the ascent and offer incredibly beautiful views of the reliefs of the Aosta Valley. Some present a very low difficulty and are therefore also accessible to children and teenagers, but there are also technically demanding via ferratas which will satisfy the more sporty and lovers of high altitudes.
• Sentiero dei Tre Laghi - an easy trek and also accessible to families, it takes place at Lake Chamolè at an altitude of 2325 meters above sea level and includes part of the journeys with the lifts of ascent. Once you reach the lake it will be pleasant to relax in the open air and for children to play in the large spaces that surround it. Another option is to reach Lake Arbolle even higher, at 2497 meters above sea level, with about an hour's walk. Continuing for just under an hour on the same itinerary it will then be possible to reach the third lake, that of Capre at 2695 meters above sea level which gives you the most surprising panorama, with the eye able to sweep up to the Gran Paradiso massif,
• Becca di Nona - The ease of access, the high altitude and the splendidly strategic position make it one of the most extraordinary viewpoints over the entire Aosta Valley, which however presents a more challenging access.
• Trekking to the Arbolle Refuge and Federigo Bivouac,
• Trekking on the Sentiero delle Marmotte, characterized by a succession of viewpoints, this path is a fascinating excursion for nature lovers thanks to the possibility offered by the natural panorama in which it is immersed to meet specimens of the local fauna,
• Nordic Walking Park - an ideal space for lovers of "Nordic walking" easily accessible thanks to the well-marked paths which form a real natural outdoor gym. Our instructors also organize courses for beginners who want to start practicing this particularly beneficial style of hiking.

Espace de Pila Horse Riding wants to introduce you to the beautiful Aosta Valley on horseback! Join us in Pila for fun trekking riding our cute animals.

For those who want to learn we offer lessons and introductory courses to horse riding, while for experienced riders we offer accompanied trips into the woods of the Conca di Pila. We are suitable for everyone...here is a new sporting activity to discover and practice during your holidays alone, with friends, as a couple or with your family!

The instructors are waiting for you to introduce you to and appreciate the splendid area surrounding the riding school, located in the square of the Church of Pila.

Espace de Pila Climbing invites you to try free climbing in Val d'Aosta. Join us in Gressan for an adventure to try!

Discover the fun of climbing on our new wall! Six meters distributed in five vertical ascent routes with routes of different intensity to be able to present an alternative to all climbers, whatever their level.

You reach the point from which to climb the wall through the path that leads to the Arbolle refuge, a route that allows you to touch various points of great interest such as Lake Chamolè, Lake Arbolle, a journey of just over an hour to reach the Pila-Chamolè chairlift, or in ten minutes from the Arbolle refuge.

The climbing installations are arranged on a rock face positioned at approximately 2550 meters above sea level and include seven climbing routes distributed over 15 meters from level 5a to 6b.

The combination of characteristics of this wall makes it an extraordinary choice for all climbing lovers, from here it will be possible to admire an unforgettable panorama throughout the ascent, which will complete and make your day in the Aosta Valley even more special.

Espace de Pila MTB awaits you in the province of Aosta to let loose on your mountain bike in different activities. We offer you a wide range of possibilities for having fun. Come and find out which ones.

The propensity of the Espace de Pila for the organization of sports holidays has been known since the beginning, but we have certainly exceeded expectations by creating an incredible bike stadium of its own on the slopes which completed the offer for all mountain bike and down hill enthusiasts who could already find various routes dedicated to cross-country.

We are in the perfect environment for mountain biking. We tell you where and how to use it, you just decide when and that's it. With us you can also rent mountain bikes and you can even just go for relaxing walks with your family.

Here are some specifics on the adventures we propose:

• Bike Stadium - Here it is not obligatory to wait for snow to experience the magic and adrenaline of speed, during the summer, in fact, the slopes become exciting mountain bike descent routes, divided by grade of difficulty and dedicate part to the practice of down-hill and others to free-ride.
• Cross Country - When you have reached Pila you will also have the possibility to opt for other tracks, outside the bike stadium, for a total of twelve itineraries developed along heavy roads in 185 km which run on a difference in altitude which drops from 2300 meters to 600 metres, an opportunity to enjoy unique views.
• Bike Park - another possibility for those who love two wheels, it has three sections, one of which is equipped for cross-country activities. This particular environment lends itself perfectly to novice bikers who will be able to try their first maneuvers but also to more experienced bikers in the training phase. The Bike park is also equipped with a belt that helps athletes to climb back up comfortably.

Espace de Pila has "sporty" surprises in store all year round!

Espace de Pila Adventure Parks invites all aspiring Indiana Joneses to try their hand at our brand new Adventure Park in Gressan in the province of Aosta.

Through the paths of the park you will get your first contact with the use of all the material used for this sport including ropes, harnesses and carabiners, it will be fun to live an unusual experience among the trees.

Don't miss an opportunity to challenge yourself and test your limits by exercising your cognitive, creative and perceptive abilities.

At the Adventure Park in Pila you combine imagination and emotion as you tackle all the tests of the suspended routes, such as Tibetan bridges and fast cableways, or network bridges and try your hand at balancing passages, climbing sections and much more.

The staff will hold a small meeting before tackling the activity in which they will explain how to manage the salient phases and fundamental steps.

There are five routes, indicated with imaginative names and divided by color, to distinguish the degree of difficulty:

• Squirrels - a basic and easy to follow route aimed at the little ones,
• Marmots - green, grows in complexity, is open to slightly older children,
• Camosci - blue, aimed at already expert/adult users,
• Eagles - red, immerse yourself in adrenaline and ;
• Super Aquile - red, a very challenging route for the bravest and most sporty.

Fun is guaranteed for everyone at the Espace de Pila!
