Trekking excursions are aimed at the whole family and you can choose the half day or full day option, depending on your needs and tastes. All the trips are carried out in the company of qualified expert guides who know these territories very well and who will transmit a passion for nature and in particular for the volcano.

Here is a brief description of the parks we will visit together:

• The Nebrodi Park: is the largest protected area in Sicily. It is a reserve made up of ancient ruins, springs, lakes, woods and which is characterized by the vast fauna typical of the area.
• The Etna Park: a wonderful park made up of caves, woods, lava flows, craters and volcanic vents.
• The Alcantara Park: is a unique park characterized by the beautiful Alcantara Gorges and by the wonderful itineraries to discover the ancient Greek civilization.

Etna Quota Mille is a rural tourism company that promotes a series of activities on the slopes of Etna, including excursions or horseback riding . Our trips can last all day or there is a half day option. Here are some of the itineraries we propose:

• On the edge of a crater: this is an excursion on horseback that lasts about half a day. It includes a beautiful ride in the oak forest, to then arrive at an ancient lateral crater of Etna. You can ride along the volcanic vent. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Sicilian coast.
• Overview of Etna: is an excursion suitable for those who have never practiced horse riding. It is in fact a simple and pleasant walk.
• On the beach: this excursion lasts about 2 and a half hours and consists of reaching the sea in the saddle. For the more experienced it will be possible to lead the horse at a gallop and there are short stops to admire the landscape and the panorama.

• Easy: excursion suitable for everyone, which lasts half a day (either in the morning or in the afternoon).
• Medium: challenging hike and much longer than the Easy one. It takes place from 9.00 to 15.00.
• Hard: very demanding excursion but perhaps the best for those who want to be able to see more scenery and more panoramas.
• Tour: is a multi-day tour that aims to introduce you to the naturalistic beauties of Etna, reaching the sea. The package includes accommodation at a bed & breakfast.
