Le Isole

The residence Le Isole cannot be considered a simple farmhouse, it is a recently renovated farmhouse complex immersed in the Mugello Valley, an oasis of peace ideal for all those who want to spend a holiday full of nature and of sport and tourism. It is normally open all year round.

The ancient hamlet of the Islands is made up of 7 independent apartments, each with its own private outdoor space, with its own entrance, fireplace, heating and bathroom, sleeping 2-4-6. All are equipped with satellite TV, kitchenette, living room and weekly linen service.

For those who want to practice some healthy sport we offer different solutions: mountain biking, trekking, trekking with animal sighting, excursions with quads, soccer, green volleyball and sport fishing in an artificial lake.
The environment lends itself very well to those who want to alternate between relaxation and sport, countless paths, destinations for many excursions-trekking on foot or by mountain bike. It is also possible to meet numerous animals such as roe deer, fallow deer, foxes, wild boars, red deer, buzzards, hares, badgers, herons, etc., habitual frequenters of the woods and the surrounding area.

The Islands , also make available to its customers, a swimming pool open from the end of May to the end of September, which allows our guests to rest after a tiring sport activity.

The area surrounding "Le Isole" allows various trekking excursions. Around our structure we have reported several possible routes ranging from medium-easy to more demanding ones that will lead you both to the ancient farms and villages of the valley, and to the peaks of the various mountains. Trekking through endless woods, streams and even rocky stretches, you can reach wonderful meadows located at high altitude, arriving at the CAI refuges, at the stopping points of the Comunità Montana.

The area that will surround you in your walks will allow you to live a dream: chestnut, fir and pine forests will frame an ancient spring from which you can drink after the effort. It is also an ideal scenario for the sighting of numerous species of animals; it is not unusual to come across a family of roe deer, fallow deer or wild boar, to find traces of the wolf, fox and badger, buzzards in the sky, nocturnal barn owls, a still living fauna that reproduces annually in this habitat.

In short, the excursions conducted in our lands are perhaps the ideal solution to recharge from everyday stress, to regain lost contact with nature and to take a break with body and mind. We look forward to seeing you!

The residence Le Isole MTB is the ideal solution for all people looking for a holiday between sport, nature, relaxation and fun.

Our center offers its customers numerous alternatives for fun: from trekking along the countless Tuscan paths, to sport fishing in our artificial lake, to a soccer field to organize games with friends, to excursions with quads and by mountain bike.

For mountain bike excursions we have created several specific routes and all marked, accompanied by maps, altimetry and route description also in English, various levels of difficulty, for experts and less experienced, of various mileage. So that everyone can build their own course according to their needs and training level.

The MTB Islands also offer their customers a characteristic workshop and storage, a changing room, a mountain bike wash and a rest area. Of course, you can bring your own bicycle from home or you can rent it from our fleet.
