Walking Center Piemonte is the association active in Turin since 1991.

For more than twenty years of activity, the association based in Turin deals with the dissemination and promotion of the practice of Nordic Walking and activities related to nature and hiking, mainly in the Piedmontese territory .

Since 2006 the Walking Center Piemonte Trekking also constitutes the Nordik Walking School Turin, which only a few years later obtains the important certification from the Italian Nordic Walking School (SINW).

Since 2008, the association has been affiliated with the FITeL (Italian Federation of Leisure Time) recognized by the Ministry of the Interior as a charity.

In recent years, many successes have been achieved in the field of organizing activities ranging in various fields in the practice of "walking" understood as a "lifestyle":

• Trekking on foot in significant environments from a naturalistic, historical and cultural point of view in Italy and abroad,
• environmental itineraries for schools,
• fitwalking and Nordic walking courses,
• orienteering courses ,
• environmental education programs .

Walking Center Piemonte Orienteering allows you to get closer to the natural world through completely unique experiences.

Discover all the programs planned for next season from our Turin office you will have the opportunity to get in touch with this unusual sport that is increasingly spreading, even in the Italian territory, able to get back in touch with lost senses and acquire techniques for navigating the woods.

There are several methods for carrying out the course:

• the traditional formula with staggered departures, which separates the participants by a few minutes from each other,
• relay races in which the second runners start only when the first runner arrives,
• timed races,
• free sequence, in which the sequence of finding the lanterns is not considered important and participants will be able to opt for the shorter search order.

Qualified instructors, through a training course, offer the opportunity to learn the techniques that allow you to learn how to read maps, use the compass and GPS. You will be able to acquire the skills to keep your bearings in the woods and try new experiences.
