• Brissogne: Rafting in these places is suitable for youngsters (from the age of four) on routes of at least two hours, as well as children and adults on routes of four to five hours. If you have an adventurous streak, we recommend a full day rafting or 2-day rafting activity with overnight stay in a tent.

• Descents in Pré-Saint-Didier range from a duration of 1.30 hours to a maximum of 4 hours. This is suited for families with children and you will have the opportunity to descend down incredible rapids like Fontine, Karma, and Santa Barbara.

• Avise: Basic rafting baptism routes, more technical 2-3 hour routes are suitable for older people (children and adults). Parts of the Dora Baltea river that can keep you occupied for half a day are all available in this area.

• Choose Aymaville, which is one of the better options because it includes rafting in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park. You will find a rafting school that organizes basic rafting courses - level II, III or IV, suitable for people who want to immerse themselves in this activity.

Echallod, along the Dora Baltea, and Cerian-Epaillon, along the Marmore torrent, are two other spots in Aosta Valley where you may experience superb rafting descents.
