Aquademia Dive Center is based in Brindisi and is committed to promoting the culture of the sea, through the organization of a wide range of sporting and recreational activities linked to this particular environment.

Aquademia Dive Center has been active since 1995 as a sports and cultural association, then under the name of Centro Sub Brindisi, but over the years it has expanded its proposal and its fields of interest , specializing in underwater teaching, training an ever-increasing number of divers and helping them to obtain the certification for scuba diving at the desired level.

Relying on the precepts of the educational agency ESA (European Scuba Agency), of which it is the official instructor training centre, Aquademia Dive Center addresses its objective with great seriousness, faithful to its fame and professionalism that characterizes ESA throughout the world.

The team active at the center consists of fifteen instructors available to customers for the complete range of courses offered by the teaching team, from beginner to instructor level, which are held in different European languages .

Aquademia Dive Center is also an ACSI-CONI affiliated sports center anda training center for lifeguards on behalf of the Società Nazionale di Salvamento of Genoa, for its branch office in Brindisi.

The diving headquarters is equipped with large spaces suitable for the comfort of the students during the activities. These include: teaching room, multimedia room, reading corner with bookcase and themed video library, recreation room with bar. The headquarters is located in the splendid area of the Brindisi marina while the sea base is set up for direct diving with its premises which, in addition to the reception, include equipment rental, ara and nitrox refills, separate changing rooms, hot showers, equipment storage.

Aquademia Dive Center also puts at your disposal the equipment necessary for carrying out courses and dives, all modern and reliable.

The dives take place with the aid of two inflatable boats specific for diving activities: a Solemar B25 Off-Shore model of 7.40 mequipped with a Yamaha 225 hp outboard engine and with a maximum capacity of 12 passengers , and a larger BWA 740 dinghy, with a 225 hp Yamaha outboard engine, complete with central rack, which can accommodate up to 24 divers.

All the equipment supplied by Aquademia is complete with Free-Shark and is inspected and tested on a regular basis. The cylinders used are differentflow rate: 5 lt, 10 lt, 12 lt (also aluminum), 15 lt and 18 lt; annually reviewed and tested every two years, as required by current legislation.

Thanks to careful research carried out during these years of activity, Aquademia Dive Center has been able to locate numerous diving points along the Brindisi coast which are now included in the proposed underwater itineraries, which promise their variety, to satisfy even the most experienced divers.

These range from the simplest and shallowest dives to the most technical dives among a very varied type of routes: walls, shallows and above all wrecks.

In addition to diving, the main activity of Aquademia Dive Center, with our activity you will have the opportunity to take part in sailing courses through our school established for >spread the practice of navigation at sea. The lessons will be held by our qualified instructors at our facilities and on board our sailing boat, an Arion II, to allow you to take part in the regattas organized by Aquademia.
