• While among the summer ones you can choose between: canyoning (or canyoning), kayaking, trekking, climbing (or climbing), MTB, sport fishing and golf, quads, the Bernina Red Train to Saint Moritz or the Red Train to Pontresina and from there trekking in the Fex or Rosegg valleys on foot or in horse-drawn carriages.

Fruitcake Pesca makes it possible for you to practice sport fishing in Aprica! In fact, on Mount Magnolia there is a fishing lake inside a nature reserve, where silence and tranquility reign. In the midst of nature you can rediscover contact with yourself, dedicating yourself to a relaxing, relaxing and...why not, satisfying activity!

We have equipped the area adjacent to the lake as a refreshment area, solarium and picnic area to spend a day in pure contact with nature with your friends or family. Or you can book a barbecue with the freshest fish in one of the many farmhouses in the surrounding area.

The lake can be reached via the “Aprica-Magnolta” cable car, with 6 seats and open every day from July to mid-September, and takes 8 minutes to reach its destination.

It is possible to go up on the cable car and down on a mountain bike, accompanied by qualified instructors through the paths of the Orobie Valtellinesi Park.

The Adda river, in the locality of Baghetto di Chiuro, will be an excellent partner for those approaching canoeing for the first time or for those who want to eliminate the typical defects of a self-taught person.

The Kayak is a type of canoe originally used by the Inuit and differs from the Canoe, or more precisely, Canadian canoe, by the use of a double-bladed paddle instead of the use of a single blade. With this type of boat you can go down numerous streams, "ride rapids" and experience incredible emotions.

Fruitcake Kayak takes out an insurance policy for each participant in excursions and courses and organizes tests, individual lessons, group lessons every day, except Sunday.

All the material necessary for the descent is provided by the association (wetsuit, helmet, jacket, life jacket) and you only have to get a swimsuit and a pair of sneakers.

Fruitcake Kayak organizes different itineraries:

• DESCENT OF THE VINEYARDS: this 13 km route is suitable for everyone and is also suitable for those who are new to kayaking. In about two hours you will travel along suggestive and little-known sections of the river, from which it will be possible to see the Rhaetian side which hosts the famous Valtellina vineyard terraces. During the journey you will encounter rapids of medium difficulty.

• DESCENT OF THE ANTIQUE BRIDGE: 7 km of pure adrenaline thanks to the Boffetto rapids which present grade 3 and 4 difficulties. An interesting excursion also from a cultural and landscape point of view.

• GRAY HERON DESCENT: Named so for the possibility of admiring numerous specimens of gray herons, dippers, mallards and kingfishers along the 11 km route. Very scenic.

• SCESA DEI SETTI PONTI(Full descent): it is 20 km in close contact with the river and its suggestions, starting from Chiuro and arriving in Castione. Don't miss the fascinating moonlit night descent.

Skiing is certainly the discipline that, among snow sports, requires greater discipline. The descents offer unique sensations between the whiteness of the mountain and the self-discipline of the athlete who, through the slalom or downhill, reaches the final finish line.

Fruitcake Sci offers its customers the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of 50 km of slopes, 32 of which with artificial snow, 19 ski lifts (2 gondola lifts, 5 chair lifts, 6 ski lifts, 1 cableway and 5 carpets), 16 downhill slopes (5 blue, 9 red, 2 black) and 13.5 km for cross-country skiing.

You can ski at an altitude between 1200 and 2300 m above sea level, with the great advantage of having all the slopes that reach the school fields in the village from above. So, you are already at your destination if you feel like having a snack.

Our slopes are suitable for everyone: from families who want to have fun with their children, to beginners, up to expert skiers who will be able to take advantage of a series of very beautiful slopes which from high altitudes enter the woods before emerge at the entrance to the town.

We recommend you try the Alpine and Nordic skiing trails as they wind through centuries-old woods and beautiful plateaus illuminated by the sun.

Excursions with snowshoes (or snowshoes in jargon) represent an excellent solution both for motorcycling in the winter season (the caloric expenditure is in fact considerable) and for carrying out a sporting activity in contact with nature in simple way and without wasting resources.

It is a sport suitable for everyone and Fruitcake Ciaspole offers its customers different routes:

• APRICA ROUTE: it opens onto a difference in altitude of 500 meters and lasts 4 hours between the round trip (the duration varies depending on the group's training level). It is a suggestive route that takes place almost entirely behind the town of Aprica and on the large sunny hill where the Savrone and Premalt mountain huts are located.

• TRIVIGNO EASY ROUTE: has a height difference of 300 meters and the excursion lasts half a day. It is a route that alternates stretches in the dense pine forests near Pian di Gembro and on the pastures towards Trivigno. We will climb to the top of M. Giovello near Alpe Strencia.

• TRIVIGNO HARD ROUTE: it opens onto a difference in altitude of 600 meters and lasts 5/6 hours. It is a long route but it certainly gives great satisfaction, as it allows you to reach Monte Padrdio at 2153m, where it will be possible to admire one of those wonderful shows.

• TRIVIGNO FULLMOON ROUTE: has a difference in altitude of 300 meters and lasts 4 hours. This is a night excursion that offers unique emotions as it will be conducted under the light of the full moon. A unique emotion. You can't miss it

Cross-country skiing is a sport that combines effort with contact with nature.

Fruitcake Cross Country Skiing offers the possibility to choose between two different routes:

• The first at the 5 km ring of Trevignano at 1800 meters above sea level. It is located in a wonderful valley (on the ridge that divides Valtellina from Val Camonica).

• The second is the 7km Pian di Gembro circuit, located just 4km from Aprica: 2.5km of competitive track.

Next to the slope there is a welcoming bar providing support and service for tired skiers, who will be able to regain their strength in front of a nice cup of hot chocolate.

Fruitcake Sci di Fondo also allows its customers to take advantage of a private shuttle service in the morning and afternoon and to go and eat in a partner farmhouse for lunch, for those who want to experience the love of snow all day.

Trekking is a sport truly suitable for everyone: it is a walk at a moderate pace, to be done in silence to find harmony with oneself and listen to the nature that surrounds us.

Fruitcake Trekking organizes whole days for all mountain enthusiasts: excursion to the Black Lake and Green Lake of Torena in Val Beviso, in search of the cupels and other rock engravings present near these two lakes.

Trekking excursions are scheduled every Tuesday from the Palabione facilities or near the Falck building by bus and shuttle and subsequent continuation on foot.

The duration between the outward and return journey is approximately 4 hours and you will face a difference in altitude of 700 metres. The return is scheduled for the afternoon and the excursion will be accompanied by the expert and qualified mountain guide Pascal Van Duin.

The excursion will only be carried out if there is a minimum of 15 participants and the participation fee does not include shoes, costume and towel. However, we'll take care of everything else!

The departure is from the Palabione lift square at 8.30 am for Piateda.

The excursion, which can only be attended after having booked, will take place through the enchanting landscape of the lower Valtellina. The return is scheduled for lunch in Aprica.

This sport was born in the Scandinavian countries, while in Italy it is not yet well known, where it is recognized as a national sport; it allows you to develop a great sense of orientation and observation and helps with self-control in situations of easy panic.

Orienteering at a hiking level meant advancing on the terrain with the help of a map and a compass, trying on your own to understand what the optimal route could be to reach your destination, based on choices that take into account the weather conditions, the network of roads and paths, obstacles or dangerous areas.

But, it is now a sport complete with National Championships where it is called Orienteering Race: it is a timed race, where the first to find "the way home" wins.

The program thatFruitcake Orienteering offers to its customers is structured as follows: starting from an altitude of 1570m in the Gradesc Alps, and arrival at 1720 meters in the Strencia Alps.

The departure is scheduled for the morning and the return in the afternoon and faces a difference in altitude of 300 metres. The route alternates stretches in the dense pine forests near Pian di Gembro and on the pastures towards Trivigno.

The route is aimed at developing our orientation and observation skills and will be activated by Fruitcake Orienteering only with the participation of a minimum of 15 participants.
