Arco Alpine Guides deals with hiking in a mountainous environment, exploring all the sports areas that this habitat welcomes.

The proposals of this group of guides operating on the reliefs adjacent to Lake Garda , are developed on graduated programs according to commitment, difficulty and preparation of the participants and are aimed at individual hikers as well as families who can, in this way, getting closer to the mountain and discovering it as a new environment, often outside what we consider our limits.

Seasonally, the areas of action of the guide center range from the most important activities:

• Rock Climbing Courses in the Dolomites,
• Free Ride courses and rides.

For schools there are winter or summer campsites that can be integrated with the annual educational programs of the primary and secondary schools. More technical paths are recommended for universities, for which we provide support and research expeditions or aimed at the same.

Accompanied by the Arco Alpine Guides you can participate in canyoning descents in the beautiful, uncontaminated canyons of the Sarca Valley.

Surrounded by the beauty of an absolutely wild nature you will live an exciting and fun experience that manages to combine climbing, trekking and many water adventures in a single activity.

Toboggan created by the ice or by the incessant flow of the waters, natural pools, sections in ropes: whatever the technical level of the descent you will participate in, one thing is certain, fun and wonder are guaranteed.

The descents provided by the Guides are of different levels, medium, difficult and "for experts", distributed in the excursions on the four canyons of the valley:

• Vione,
• Palvico,
• Iacuzzi,
• Vaio dell'Orsa.

All descents whose duration varies between 4-5 hours, excluding the Vaio dell'Orsa, the only one recommended only to experts and with a duration between 5 and 8 hours.

The Dolomites are the perfect stretch to welcome Ski Mountaineering excursions, for the characteristics that the reliefs possess and for the unique landscape in the world to which you will have access.

The action areas of the guides regarding the ski mountaineering outings are located in the dolomitic massif and in the points of the Trentino Alps , in particular in the group of reliefs of Ortles Cevedale.

The courses offered in this area include excursions and are aimed at users interested in this part of hiking and in the knowledge of the problems related to them.

The courses are of two consecutive levels:

• Basic course of ski mountaineering - composed of five theoretical lessons and 4 outings in the mountains, it explores the basic concepts of this sport, from the materials used to the basics of snow science.
• Advanced course - four complete days in the mountains during which you will try the descents from particularly steep slopes, you will spend the nights in a refuge and you will learn the advanced methods of using the specific equipment for more complex routes.

The calendar also includes daily outings for expert mountaineers or for students who have passed our courses.

The Free Ride activities and the snowshoeing outings of the Guides are dedicated to mountain lovers in winter, but who are not satisfied with the slopes of beaten snow and want to set off to discover the true aspect of the Alpine chain in exciting days off-piste, between pristine environments and pristine slopes.

The outings are of all levels, from the most accessible, also perfect for families, to those of training and certainly great fun, for students who have passed our specific courses.

Snowshoeing in the winter months is an excellent solution to experience hiking even in the coldest months and allows you to move in the mountains even without knowing how to ski.

In the spring or autumn season , the company of guides organizes expeditions to the Everest massif, Namibia or Patagonia, among other interesting world destinations.

The Arco Alpine Guides operate in the beautiful valleys and dolomitic reliefs near the Lake Garda with excursion proposals ranging from single guided outings to courses of the main sports activities on rock, snow and ice.

There are two routes provided by the guides:

• climbing on ice falls ,
• climbing .

As for the activities on ice , there are single outings on request or by program for already experienced athletes, or training courses for those who want to experience this activity that will move the your motor and mental limits:

• Basic course of ice climbing,
• Climbing stage, from the first movements to the technicalities.
